Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how initial certification assessment fees, ongoing monitoring charges, cancellations, and refund requests are handled for CRV Verified services.
The $4,500 Initial Certification Assessment Fee Is Non-Refundable
The $4,500 initial certification assessment fee covers the structured review conducted under the CRV Vendor Certification Standard. This may include review of business identity, website presentation, domain integrity, Research Use Only positioning, policies, operational transparency, fulfillment information, Certificates of Analysis, and other supporting documentation submitted by the applicant.
The assessment fee compensates CRV Verified for the time, resources, administrative processing, and professional review required to evaluate an application. It does not guarantee approval or issuance of CRV certification.
Once payment has been completed and the assessment process has begun, the $4,500 fee is final and non-refundable, including when an application is denied, withdrawn, incomplete, delayed, closed, or determined to be ineligible.
Ongoing Monitoring
Approved vendors are charged $175 per month for continued monitoring, active registry status, badge authorization, periodic review, and certification maintenance under the CRV framework.
Future Billing Cancellation
Vendors may cancel future monthly renewals at any time. A cancellation prevents new recurring charges after it has been received and processed by CRV Verified.
How Monthly Monitoring Cancellations Work
Cancellation applies to future monthly monitoring renewals. It does not reverse or refund the initial certification assessment fee, nor does it automatically create eligibility for a refund of monthly monitoring services already billed or provided.
Following cancellation, the vendor’s active certification status, registry listing, badge authorization, verification profile, or related monitoring services may be marked inactive, expired, suspended, or removed in accordance with CRV registry and certification standards.
Vendors remain responsible for removing CRV badges, certification claims, and verification representations when authorization ends. Continued use of CRV certification assets without active authorization may be treated as unauthorized badge usage.
When a Refund May Be Issued
A refund may be issued when a $175 monthly monitoring charge is processed in error after CRV Verified has received and confirmed a valid cancellation request. Any approved refund will be limited to the applicable charge processed in error.
Refunds are not available for completed or commenced certification assessments, denied applications, incomplete submissions, applicant withdrawal, vendor disqualification, suspension, revocation, failure to satisfy CRV standards, or monthly monitoring services already provided.
Refund requests must include sufficient billing and account information to allow CRV Verified to review the transaction. Submission of a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.
Certification Is Not Guaranteed
Payment of an assessment fee does not purchase approval, a particular certification level, or permanent registry status. Certification decisions are based on the applicant’s documented alignment with the CRV Vendor Certification Standard.
CRV Verified may request clarification, corrective changes, updated records, or additional documentation before issuing a final certification determination.
Assessment fees are final. Future monitoring renewals may be cancelled.
This policy protects the integrity and independence of the certification assessment while allowing approved vendors to discontinue future monthly monitoring services.
