CRV Certification Levels

One Standard. Two Levels of Alignment.

Both CRV Verified and CRV A+ represent valid certification under the CRV framework. The distinction reflects the degree of documented alignment with the criteria applicable to the certified business.

Certification level does not constitute product approval, endorsement, or a guarantee of future performance.
Certification Structure

Category-Specific Standards

Enhanced criteria depend on the business category.

CRV A+ does not rely on one universal operational requirement. Advanced criteria are selected according to the risks, documentation, services, and operating model relevant to each category.

Research Vendor Example

Enhanced criteria may include COA and batch-record consistency, RUO representation, packaging controls, fulfillment practices, and other research-vendor-specific evidence.

CRV
Important Clarification

CRV Verified remains a complete and valid certification.

The absence of an A+ designation does not mean that a certified business is illegitimate, deficient, or noncompliant. It means the business currently holds the core CRV certification level rather than the enhanced designation.

Every valid CRV designation should correspond to a searchable record in the official public registry.
