The following terms define the scope, limitations, and legal positioning of the Certified Research Vendor™ (CRV) verification framework.
Independent Verification Framework
Certified Research Vendor™ (CRV) operates as an independent third-party verification framework. CRV does not manufacture, distribute, sell, or broker research compounds. All evaluations are limited to vendor-facing operations, associated documentation, and publicly observable indicators of consistency and reliability.
No Regulatory Authority
CRV is not a government agency, regulatory authority, accreditation body, or legal certifying entity. Certification reflects internal verification standards only and should not be interpreted as regulatory approval or legal authorization.
RUO (Research Use Only) Positioning
CRV operates within the context of research-use-only (RUO) markets. CRV does not provide medical, therapeutic, or clinical guidance. Nothing within the CRV framework should be interpreted as a recommendation for human consumption or medical use.
Documentation Review Disclaimer
CRV may review associated laboratory documentation such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs). CRV does not independently audit laboratories or guarantee the scientific accuracy of such records.
No Endorsement or Guarantee
Certification does not constitute endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of product quality, safety, or vendor performance. All decisions remain the responsibility of the user.
Limitation of Liability
CRV shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or disputes resulting from interactions between vendors and third parties. Use of the CRV system is at the user’s own discretion.
Certification Status & Enforcement
CRV reserves the right to update, suspend, or revoke certification status based on internal review, reported concerns, or changes in vendor alignment with CRV standards.
Use of CRV Branding
Misuse or misrepresentation of CRV branding, badges, or verification identifiers may result in enforcement action and removal from the CRV registry.
Certified Research Vendor™ exists to introduce structure, transparency, and accountability into the RUO vendor landscape. Verification does not replace independent due diligence.
